Snowball’s Big Adventure

My name is Snowball, and this is me. Well, this is me in two different lives.
In my first life, I was a fluffy, round little puff of white. I lived in a world of snow and ice, a place so white it felt like a giant blanket. My days were simple: I would roll around, feel the cold ground against my belly, and let the sun warm my fur. I had a cute little nose, and my eyes were always squinting from the bright light. Life was easy, quiet, and filled with fluffy comfort.
But one day, something changed. I woke up not on a bed of ice, but on a soft, warm blanket inside a big metal box that moved very fast. The world outside was full of green trees and tall buildings, not white snow. My body felt a little different, too. I was still white and fluffy, but my little round shape had changed. My paws felt bigger, my ears were longer, and my tail, which used to be a tiny bump, was now a long, waggy thing.
A kind human, with a soft voice and gentle hands, was sitting next to me. She called me Snowball, the same name I had before, but it felt new. She gave me toys to chew on and bowls of delicious food. I learned to run on green grass instead of slick ice. I learned to bark instead of squeak
Sometimes, when I am curled up on my soft blanket, I think about my first life. I remember the cold air and the endless white. But then, my human scratches behind my ears, and I remember the warmth of her love and the fun of our new adventures.
I am still Snowball. I am still a fluffy, white creature with a big heart. The world outside has changed, but the joy inside of me has not. And I have to admit, being a puppy is pretty great. I get to sleep a lot and get all the belly rubs I want. Life is still simple, but now it’s filled with even more love.
