Sculpture, Possibly Cleopatra VII

This sculpture, likely from the Ptolemaic period, may represent Cleopatra VII, an earlier Ptolemaic queen, or possibly the goddess Isis.
The back pillar, which often contains identifying inscriptions, is blank, and the crown—another distinguishing feature—has been broken.
Regardless of whether it depicts a queen or a deity, the sculpture is unlikely to be an exact portrait of any individual. Instead, it presents a generalized image of serene femininity.
