This gilded and painted 𝘔𝘶𝘮𝘮𝘺 mask, made of linen and plaster cartonnage, depicts Montsuef wearing a lappet-wig. It was excavated by archaeologist A.H. Rhind from Montsuef’s tomb at Sheikh Abd el-Qurna. The mask combines traditional Egyptian funerary artistry with Roman-period stylistic influences, reflecting the cultural blending of the era.
