🌸💖 A Stranger’s Kindness, A Mother’s Memory 💖🌸

Carl Lee Harker (1932-1986) - Find a Grave Memorial

It has been 50 years since my mum passed, and though I was only 11 at the time, her absence has never left me. Not a single day goes by without her in my thoughts. She rests peacefully in our hometown of Orange, NSW — but with my health and limited mobility, visiting her grave had become something I thought I could no longer do. 🌹😔

And then, out of pure kindness, came Tracy. While visiting her brother, she often placed flowers on random graves — small, beautiful gestures of remembrance for souls long gone. When I reached out and asked if she might lay one for my mum, she didn’t hesitate for a moment. She said yes. 🌷✨

When someone else is buried in Mother's grave

That simple act, done by someone who never even knew her, touched me more deeply than words can express. It reminded me that even though decades have passed, love does not fade — and strangers, through their kindness, can help keep it alive. 💕🙏

Because sometimes, the greatest gifts don’t come wrapped in paper, but in compassion that crosses generations. 🌸🕊️
