With more intense action, heart-pounding suspense, and a focus on survival, the film expands the stakes, offering an even more thrilling ride. The performances are solid, especially Gerard Butler’s portrayal of a desperate father. While the movie offers exciting sequences, some character moments feel formulaic, but it remains an engaging watch for fans of disaster thrillers.
