🚗 A Random Act of Kindness at the Gas Station

⛽ Today at a gas station, I noticed a man sitting in his van, his face heavy with worry. Something tugged at me, so I walked over and asked gently, “Are you okay?”

😔 He sighed, “I’m not sure what’s wrong with my car.”

🔧 I popped the hood and quickly realized the issue — the alternator had died, and his battery wasn’t charging. His home was just a mile away, so I charged it enough to get him back safely. But when I explained he’d need a new alternator, his expression changed. His shoulders slumped. “I honestly can’t afford it,” he whispered.

💳 Without hesitation, I handed him my card and said, “Call me when you get home. I’ll take care of it.”

😲 He froze for a moment, completely shocked. “Why would you do this for someone you don’t even know?”

🙂 I smiled softly and replied, “Because no one is ever too important to show kindness.”

🌟 As I watched him drive off, I felt something stir deep inside. We all carry silent battles, and sometimes the smallest act of generosity can lift the heaviest burden. That day, I was reminded that kindness doesn’t just fix cars — it mends hearts.
