The ancient gold signet ring, dating from the Greek Classical to Early Hellenistic period (5th–4th century BCE), is a fine example of personal adornment and craftsmanship from antiquity.

Such rings were often used to seal documents and signify authority or identity. This particular piece is part of the Romanov Russia collection.
